And more! If you do not see your instrument listed, reach out to us. We may still have a teacher available.
Do lessons happen during school?
Yes, in most cases they can. We partner with schools and districts across Central Texas to offer convenient lesson options before, during, and after school. We also have in-home and virtual options available.
What if we need virtual lessons sometimes?
No problem! Many families choose a hybrid approach.
If your child is sick, traveling, has transportation issues, or your schedule changes, virtual lessons are often a great temporary option so students can stay consistent and avoid missing progress.
Our teachers use musician friendly virtual settings for high quality sound and real time music sharing.
How does scheduling work?
Once you fill out the interest form, our scheduling team will reach out to learn more about your child’s goals, instrument, location, and availability.
From there, we carefully match your child with the best teacher and help find a lesson time that works for your family’s schedule.
What if my child is a beginner?
Beginners are absolutely welcome!
In fact, starting with strong fundamentals and healthy technique early on can make a huge difference in a student’s long term success and confidence.
Our teachers work hard to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace.
Do you help with auditions?
Absolutely. Many of our students work toward:
- All Region and All State auditions
- Solo and Ensemble preparation
- Chair tests and placement auditions
- College audition preparation
- Jazz auditions and improvisation
- Performance confidence and stage presence
Lessons are personalized around each student’s goals and school program.
Can lessons continue through summer?
Yes, and we strongly encourage it!
Summer is one of the best times for students to grow because they can focus without the stress of a full school schedule. Students who stay consistent over the summer often return feeling more confident, prepared, and ahead going into the next school year.
We offer both in person and virtual summer lesson options.
What areas do you serve?
We currently offer in person lessons throughout parts of Central Texas, including Austin and surrounding areas.
Virtual lessons are available nationwide.
If you are unsure whether we serve your area, reach out and we would be happy to help.
How much do lessons cost?
Lessons start at $32.50/30 minutes, or $65/hour.

“The biggest difference was consistency. Having a weekly lesson keeps my child practicing instead of putting the instrument down.â€

“My son has been taking lessons with RMT Music for over four years. The dedication to their students is incredible, and my son is now one of the top saxophone players in his region, not just his school! His growth has been beyond my expectations, and I recommend RMT to anyone looking for lessons. “
